Due to the strict security protocols and regulations governing photography and the use of mobile phones within Kenya’s correctional facilities, we were unable to take photographs inside the prison. However, we were grateful for the opportunity to take a few photographs outside the facility with members of our team.

We were also joined by the Prison Chaplain and a prison officer. In keeping with the necessary privacy and security considerations, their faces have been blurred in the photographs.

It was truly an amazing and memorable experience. We would have loved to share photographs of the inside of the facility and give you a glimpse of the ministry taking place there, but we fully respect and honour the regulations and guidelines established by the Kenya Prisons Service.
